Songbin Fu
Songbin Fu, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Genetics, serves as Director of Laboratory of Medical Genetics and Vice President of Harbin Medical University. He is a member of The Human Genome Organization (HUGO), an executive director of Genetics Society of China, a committee of experts of Chinese Genetic Resources, the chairman of Genetic Institute of Heilongiang Province and the Editor-in-Chief of "International Journal of Genetics".His current research projects include: (1) Conservation of Genetic Resources in China and Polymorphisms; (2) The structure and function of double minute chromosomes (DMs).
Yan Jin
Yan Jin, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Genetics. Following completion of his postdoctoral training at New York Medical College, Dr. Jin joined Laboratory of Medical Genetics as an associate director and became a member of a council of Genetic Institute of Heilongiang Province.His research aims at the origion of double minute chromosomes and the signal pathways of ING4 in cancer.
chunshui zhou

Chunshui Zhou, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Genetics. His research interests lie in identifying and elucidating the molecular mechanisms which govern the regulation of the formation of Double-Minute chromosomes (DMs) and DMs related drug resistance and DNA damage signaling in human cancer cells by employing functional genetic approaches including genome-wide shRNA mediated loss-of-function screens, genome-wide human ORFeome based gain-of-function screens, quantitative phospho-proteomics as well as utilizing model organisms such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae ( budding yeast) and Schizosaccharomyces pombe (fission yeast).

Dr. Dekai Zhang earned his M.S. and M.D. in Internal Medicine at Harbin Medical University and his Ph.D. in Cancer and Cell Biology at The University of Hong Kong. At Yale University School of Medicine, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, he undertook postdoctoral studies for Cancer Research and Immunobiology. Before he joined the IBT in September 2005, he was a research associate scientist in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale University. Jing Bai, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Genetics, is an associate director of Laboratory of Medical Genetics. She is a member of a council of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, the secretary-general of Genetic Institute of Heilongiang Province, the managing director of "International Journal of Genetics".Dr. Bai's research interest focuses on protomics analysis for DMs and metastasis in lung cancer.
Feng Chen
Feng Chen, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Genetics. He is an associate director of Laboratory of Medical Genetics and a member of a council of Genetic Institute of Heilongjiang Province.His work mainly focuses on the human genome diversity.
Xiangning Meng,

Xiangning Meng, M.D.,Ph.D., associate professor, academic advisor for mastor¡¯s candidate.
In 1999, Xiangning Meng was graduated from the department of clinical medicine in Harbin Medical University. In 2003 and 2006, she obtained a master¡¯s degree in medicine and the genetics doctor¡¯s degree, respectively. During 2007 to 2008, she studied in Japan as a visiting scholar in Shiga university of medical science. Now, she holds a concurrent post of vice chairman member in medical genetics professional committee in Heilongjiang branch of Chinese Medical Association and the reviewer of International Journal of Genetics.

Chunyu Zhang
Chunyu Zhang, M.D. Ph.D. Associate Professor of Genetics.  After graduated from Harbin Medical University, Dr. Zhang performed postdoctoral training at Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center then studied in Department of Clinical Oncology of HongKong University as an Honorary Research Associate. She interests in such research projects: the function of DMs in cancer generation and cancer microenvironment.
